The new Markin Family Student Recreation Center opens fall 2008, and will replace Haussler Hall with four basketball courts for intramural and recreational games, a championship basketball court, a 1/8-mile running/walking track, climbing wall, juice bar, indoor pool, weight room, exercise rooms, and other amenities. The Wellness Program and Counseling will be located in the lower level, as will the University's Health Center.

Haussler Hall
Haussler Hall currently serves as the center of campus physical recreation and is open 115 hours per week to the campus community. Haussler will continue to provide an indoor pool, three indoor basketball courts, a weight room, cardio room, three racquetball courts and a variety of multipurpose fitness facilities throughout the construction of the new Markin Family Student Recreation Center.

Markin CourtsMeinen Field, Markin Courts, and Bradley Park
Lighted outdoor recreation courts and fields provide opportunities for students to play basketball, softball, football and tennis at nearly any time of day or night. Nearby Bradley Park also offers sand volleyball, an 18-hole Frisbee-golf course and numerous outdoor recreation fields.

Intramural and Recreational Sports
Intramural and recreational sports programs provide a schedule encompassing over 20 events for teams and individuals and dozens of fitness classes including aerobics, martial arts, and dance.

Opportunities to participate with friends in fitness and athletic activities are an important part of the Bradley residential experience.
