Transfer Students have some great living options at Bradley University. From
classroom to dorm room, our residential environment provides a wealth of social,
cultural, and civic opportunities. Many times, getting involved is simply a
matter of walking down the block.
Whether you live in an apartment or on campus, the “West Bluff” neighborhood
is a happening place. Coffee shops, restaurants, and unique shopping locations
give Bradley students the convenience of city living within walking distance
of classrooms, the library, and the student center.
University Housing At-A-Glance…
St. James Apartments
Want to live off-campus, but still take advantage of Bradley's great location?
St. James may be the place for you. These furnished apartments offer features
such as vaulted ceilings, single bedrooms, Internet and cable TV access,
and a host of other luxuries that you would expect in an independent living
community.
Many transfer students choose St. James because of convenience, but it is
also a great place to meet people. Plus, the restaurants and shops of Campus
Town are just two blocks away. St. James offers a unique, upper-class extension
of Bradley’s campus community.
Student Apartment Complex (SAC)
The six-story Student Apartment Complex provides single and double occupancy
accommodations for upperclassmen. Each apartment is air-conditioned and comes
equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, Internet access, and cable
TV. SAC is conveniently located near Campustown and the Bradley Intramural
complex.
Residence Halls
Bradley’s on-campus residence halls are open to both
freshman and transfer students. Each hall provides convenient access to campus
resources, such as
the library, student center, and the main academic quad. For most students
in the residence halls, classes and student activities are a short walk away.
Living in the residence halls is a great way to meet and interact with fellow
students. Most halls sponsor social programs throughout the year and provide
friendly support for students who are new to campus.
The West Bluff
Bradley’s Office of Residential Living keeps listings
of many apartments, houses, and other spaces available for rent in the West
Bluff. Contact your
transfer counselor for more information.
