Bradley is a private university in Peoria, Illinois offering a wide variety of academic programs to more than 6,000 students. Students enjoy extensive resources not available at most small colleges and personal attention not commonly found at large universities.
With more than 100 programs of study and nearly 240 organizations, students are sure to find a way to develop their academic abilities, leadership skills, talents and interests. In addition to liberal arts and sciences, academic programs include business, communications, education, engineering, fine and performing arts, and health sciences. Unique programs include entrepreneurship, multimedia and physical therapy.
A Bradley education begins in faculty-taught classes that average 23 students. Our students are mentored by those same faculty through experiential learning opportunities such as internships, cooperative education, practicums, and undergraduate research.
The Campus
Located on an 85 acre residential campus, Bradley University is just one mile from downtown Peoria on the West Bluff of the Illinois River. The park-like campus sits in the middle of a residential neighborhood, and includes more than 30 buildings and facilities, none of which are more than a 5 minute walk away.

The Peoria metropolitan area is home to more than 370,000 residents, and provides ample opportunities for internships, practicums, cooperative education, volunteer experiences and entertainment. Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis are just a 3 hour drive from Peoria, and the Greater Peoria Regional Airport provides direct flights from many other major cities, including Minneapolis, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Atlanta and Las Vegas.
