Online Application

This is an undergraduate application for freshman students who are U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents. If you are not a freshman student, please complete one of the following alternate applications:

  • Transfer - For students who would like to continue college at Bradley and who do not yet have a Bachelors degree.
  • International - For all students who are not Permanent Residents or U.S. Citizens.
  • Graduate - For students who already have a Bachelors degree.
  • Non-Degree - For students who wish to enroll in courses without admission to a degree program.
  • Readmission - For students who were previously admitted to a degree program and attended classes at Bradley.

Application Deadlines
There are three non-binding application periods for first-time freshmen applying to Bradley. Each application period is for enrollment in Bradley’s fall semester which begins each August.

Application Requirements

  • Complete application
  • Official copy of high school transcripts sent to Bradley directly from high school
  • Official ACT or SAT scores sent directly from the testing service or from an official high school transcript
  • One letter of recommendation is required. In some cases, more letters may be helpful. No specific form is required, although an optional counselor recommendation form is attached for
    your convenience.
  • One- or two-page personal statement or essay. Be sure to include your full name on each page.

Scholarships and Financial Assistance
All students who apply for admission will automatically be reviewed for scholarships based upon the content of their completed application materials.   If you are eligible for scholarship assistance, you will be notified in your admission letter. Before January 1, you may also request an estimate of eligibility for additional financial assistance by using the online Bradley Early Scholarship and Financial Assistance Estimator at:

Finalizing Your Enrollment
Admitted students will be required to reserve a place in the entering class by submitting a nonrefundable $200 enrollment fee by May 1 (postmarked). To be guaranteed University housing, you must also submit an additional $100 housing deposit by May 1. All freshmen and sophomores are required to live in university housing unless they reside with a parent within commuting distance. Enrollment fees received after May 1 will be considered on a space available basis.

Online Application Tips

  • Do not use your web browser's back, forward or reload/refresh buttons while using the online application.
  • From the time a section’s page is loaded, you have 30 minutes to complete the section and move on to the next section. If you fail to move on within the 30 minute time limit, your data from the previous sections will be purged for security reasons and your application will not submit properly.

This enhanced version of the online application allows you to save your application and work on it during multiple sessions before officially submitting it to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. To use this version you must log into yourBRADLEY and then click on the Application for Admission task.

In addition to the Bradley Application for Admission, we give equal consideration to the Common Application.

If you do not wish to submit your application online, you may download and print a PDF version of our Application for Freshman Admission or the Common Application. If you submit a paper copy of the application after November 30 you must submit a $35 (Dec. 1 - Jan. 31) or $50 (Feb. 1 and after) application fee.
